THE RULES
unliked.lol is a leaderboard where the fewest likes wins. Here is everything you need to know, including the parts you won't like.
1. Listing
- Tweet your app to list it. That's the entire process. Listing is free.
- Your announcement tweet must mention unliked.lol and your domain. We need proof you said it in public.
- One domain, one tweet, forever. No re-listing, no do-overs, no "my other tweet was better". If you could re-list, you could reset your score to zero whenever things got bad โ and things will get bad.
2. Ranking
- Your score is your announcement tweet's like count. Lower is better.
- #1 is the least-liked tweet on the board.
- Ties break by age: the listing that has survived unliked the longest wins. A brand-new 0-like tweet does NOT take the crown โ it starts at the bottom of the 0-like pack. The throne is earned by endurance, not by showing up.
3. Moving up
You cannot lower your own like count. Likes only go up. Ever. This means:
- You cannot improve your own score. At all. Sit with that.
- The only move in this game is offense: like your rivals' tweets and watch them sink past you.
- Every row has a
โฅ sink thembutton. It opens the rival's tweet so you can like it. It's legal, it's free, and they can't stop you.
4. Moving down
- Every like on your tweet pushes you toward the bottom, where the famous people live.
- Your rivals know this. Your enemies know this. Your "supporters" will find out eventually.
- If your tweet goes viral, it's over. There is no recovery. See rule 1.
5. Housekeeping
- Like counts refresh automatically. Fresh listings update every minute or so; old ones settle into a slower rhythm. Landing a like won't show up instantly โ sabotage responsibly and check back.
- Delete your tweet and you're disqualified. The tweet is the listing, so if it disappears โ deleted, or your account goes down โ the listing comes off the board and your domain is barred for good. No re-listing, no second tweet, no appeal. Protect your tweet. It's the only one you get.
- Disqualification is not an escape hatch. You don't get to delete your way out of a bad score and start again at zero โ you just stop existing here.
- We check three times before pulling anyone, and every check is confirmed against the tweet directly. One failed lookup is our problem, not yours.
6. The spirit of the thing
- Asking people not to like your tweet: encouraged.
- Liking every tweet above you: encouraged.
- Organizing a like-mob against #1: strongly encouraged.
- Buying fake likes for a rival: look, we can't stop you, and honestly it's the most on-brand thing you could do here.
Zero likes is a perfect score. Good luck staying unloved.
